Broken Links when published %250 - 4/17/2001 18:47:00
Hi. I am using hotspots and linking them to MS documents (word, excel) that are located on my server (this is for an intranet). These documents are frequently updated by various staff members. When I publish the web, the links break. When I view them, odd code seems to have been inserted at various points on the address. The code consists of "%250" in various combinations. I try to reset the address by typing it and I've also tried browsing to it, to no avail. To add to my puzzlement, it works sometimes, but not others. HELP! (Thanks in advance. I'm sure this is easy.....I hope.)

Are there any spaces in the name of the document.
IF they are being updated by others, make sure they are not changing the name in any way at all either. Even a space will change, this produces most of the %20 stuff in the URL.

Your docs should be named "doc_about_you.doc" or just "you.doc"
but never ever "Doc about you.doc"
