Spooky login - 4/17/2001 23:20:00
I bought the Spooky Login but can find no simple instructions as to the installation and use of this system. I gather from the readme that came in the zip that I have to some how get the files on the server and then view them or use them with frontpage, but I haven't a clue what is being described in this readme file. It sure would be nice to have a simple, straightforward step by step set of installation instructions for us novices to this field. Thanks for any help you can offer!

Ill try and make it easier
Its just that there are so many different ways of doing it, with different programs.

I assume you are using Frontpage?

Once the zip is extracted to your hard drive, you should see the required directory structure.
I normally extract to c:\temp\ so I know where to look.

With your web site open live > FP > Open Web > Your web address

I recommend the main files be placed in the root (base) directory.

Click on the root folder, this is the folder you will import to.

Select file > Import > files

Select all the files from your hard drive that belong in the base directory.

Select file > import > folder

Select the folders images, includes, fpdb and press OK

All files will be imported to your web. Accept the connection string that FP suggests and where it wants to place the database (fpdb folder).

Now open your browser http://yourweb/admin_main.asp for mor information (and if working correctly, a login!)
