I have to speak up here: I have used Card Service International, Payflow and Authorize.net. My experience has been the opposite of Thomas' s. Yes, there have been ' upgrades' , but I' ve been notified by email of each upgrade prior to the upgrade being implemented and in plenty of time to prepare and make any adjustments needed. With Cardservice and Payflow, I would have any where from a few to a lot of disputed charges every month - I' ve never had one w/ Authorize.net I can' t really speak about the support of Authorize.net, because I' ve only had to call once in three years and that time I got a very helpful person - maybe I' m just lucky [:D] Thomas is right about Cardservice having more features, they' re just not features I used or need. I happen to prefer Authorize.net' s reports, but that' s a matter of preference. For recurring billing, I use a simple batch script. I' m sure it' s a matter of experience and personal preferences, but had to balance the scales here, Thomas.
