ASP page cannot be displayed. - 5/9/2001 20:51:00
Why don't my ASP work?

Please Help,

Can anyone help me fix my ASP?

I have built several ASPs with Front Page Database Results Wizard but when published to the WEB server on our intranet the browser displays the following message:

The page cannot be displayed. There is a problem with the page you are trying to reach and it cannot be displayed.

These ASP are for an Access Data Base which I imported into my web. Our web server is running NT 4.0, Front Page extensions, and IIS 4. Our WAN is running Novel authentication software.

I have followed the instructions from my Advanced Front Page class. These instructions (steps) are the same as the Front Page help screens and the same as the instructions on www.outfront.net.

Thanks,
Dan

Hi Dan,
first thing I would do, if you are using Internet Explorer, go to Tools -> Internet Options -> Advanced, and under the Browsing section make sure "Show friendly HTTP error messages" is not checked. You may get some more information about what the error actually is, which may help you to fix it, or could give us more idea what is going on.

All the best

Vince
