" service.lck" error (Full Version)

I just went to file>new>web to create a practice web and I got the following message
Cannot open file " service.lck" for writing.
I think I had a similar message a long time ago and it had to do with a hidden file that was switched to a read only file or something. Any suggestions?

I believe there are a couple of threads on this; I had the same problem and hope this one helps. If not, do a search for the others. You are not alone! [;)]
