Xtreme2000,

Just a few problems.

When viewing in Opera 6, there are no links at the top of the home page.

When viewing in Opera 6, NN 7.0 and NN 4.76: on the Gallery page, the scrolling images don' t. This makes it necessary to scroll side to side up to five screen widths.

When I first looked at the site in IE 6, it took several minutes (probably seconds) to find the faint little arrowhead that made me realize that there were more images. Terribly hard for my old eyes to spot:

:)
I have found that in my community of 7,000 folks in an age-restricted community that at 72, my eyes are " middle-aged/"

Thanks, How can I fix this problem thou. This is the default template for front page. I am trying to get a real good thumb nail gallery going here. But all I can comeup without paying. And I want to try to create the slide show type that will accomidate all browsers.

Hi X,

I like the new home page, but I could not find the shopping cart button either. Maybe you could make a separate button like the free shipping button:)

Main page looks WAY COOL.

On the Online Store page, I noticed some grammar errors:

quote:

or any other instructions you need us to know. So, when you received your animal(s) it will be what you specified. If you do not specify the sex of the animal that you desire, we will send you whatever sex of the animal we have available at the time of purchase to you!

I would change it to " or any other instructions we will need to know. The animal(s) you receive will be according to your specifications. If the sex of the animal is not specified, we will choose the sex depending upon what is available at the time of purchase."

On your Terms page: eliminate the centered text! Use left aligned, and possibly indent it once. Centered text is annoying for anything other than a heading or line or two of text at the most.... and a pet peeve of many Outfronters....

You should break the page up a bit; information on the care and handling of the animals should have its own page. The terms page should mainly be your policies re: shipping, guarantees, returns, etc.

quote:

ON CAPTIVE BRED (C.B.) AND WILD CAUGHT (W.C.) CAPTIVE BRED ANIMALS WILL BE MARKED WITH A " C.B."

How about this: Animals will be marked as to whether they were captive bred (" C.B." ) or wild caught (" W.C." ) (it seems a little clearer to me, but that could just be me...)

Your contact information should be more than just three links to email. That' s really a turn-off. People want to know about you; they want to know how to mail something to you if they wish; they want to know that you' re on the up and up...if you dont' have some basic information posted without making them send you an email for it, they' re not going to trust you.

As to the gallery, perhaps a different format would be better. Or, you could find a javascript; there are some that do slide shows..

On my monitor, the bright green links on the grey cell background are difficult to read. I need to hover the mouse over them to read them clearly.
